Main stage

"A job's a job. I can't let my morals get in the way of my career." Chase said this, but felt regret at soon as he did. He couldn't meet either pair of eyes. "Perhaps we could find you a better home? It must be lonely in this place..." He didn't want to leave without helping anyone.

"Another place where I can be on the stage ?Where I don't have to deal with people and am free to live my life as I please?"Shiki asked "Another place where the very walls speak to me and play music to guide my feet?How is this place harming anyone,you have seen that I make sure those who wander in are safe .I can guard this place ,if some use must be made of this space restore the theater to it's glory."

"Well, I'm not sure there's another place exactly like this.." He pondered aloud, biting his lip. "Do you think that if enough votes are given from the Smokes and Waters to renovate this place it could be used?" Xander looked up at Chase, leaning a little on his right leg.

Chase shifted his weight from each foot, uncomfortable. "I am only one person. I can try to change their minds, but the other Waters and Smokes are really stuck in their ways... I'm not allowed to visit the Smokes while they consider this anyway." He tried to think of a way to help this guy, but he couldn't come up with much. To be truthful, this guy kinda creeped him out... but he wouldn't disappoint Xander, he just needed to find a solution...

"I would talk to them but I .....I'm not exactly where I am supposed to be and do not wish to end up in the dungeons quite frankly"He said honestly gaze looking towards the stage "when you find a place that is home things like check day don't seem so important ,I'm sure that is not a sentiment they would appreciate ."he just wanted these people to leave,the music was playing and the stage called him like a siren to a sailor.

"Hm.." He murmured quietly, his arms still crossed on his chest. The small boy took a deep breath. "I don't really know what we could do.."

"I could get Arcadius to write a petition," Chase said, though he thought the idea was weak personally. He had no clue how good of a writer Arcadius was, but maybe he could do something? "Me and Xander will talk to him about it. Maybe he'll think of something."

"It is much appreciated ,you have no idea what this place means to me."he paused and hesitated before making up his mind "perhaps,..I could,..may I dance for and show you what it means?"he asked ,Shiki had danced in front of others before on the street ,it was how he got the funds to survive but he had never danced for anyone on his stage before.

Xander nodded at the taller, figuring that was probably their best lead at the moment. When the stranger asked if he could dance for them, he felt a bit awkward, but didn't want to make the other upset. After all, he hated the thought of making people unhappy, or mad. "Sure, that sounds great. What do you think, Chase?" The shorter lad looked up at the taller, hinting for him to say 'yes'.

Chase looked at Xander and Shiki. He didn't want to waste time in this creepy place, but seeing the look of Xander's face... Chase sighed. "Please show us." he said.

Shiki nodded before walking back towards the stage ,hitting a lightswitch along the way and illuminating the stage and chairs before ."There should be a couple chairs "he said to the two men and then waited while they cleared the stage .He paused closed his and when he reopened them he started to move .Shiki danced his story the feelings of pain early on in sharp rough motions at the beginning ,shifting into tight restrained movements as he recalled pulling into himself and becoming cold.Then he reached finding the theater and he glided he flowed and flew across the stage letting all the joy the place brought show in his movements ,his laughter and his smiles .

"Aw, he looks so happy." Xander smiled as the two we're seated, watching the man. The boy could feel the dancer's happiness radiate to him, as he smile grew.

Chase couldn't help but smile himself. He'd have liked to say it was because this Shiki guy seemed so happy, when in fact it was because of Xander's smile. 'I'll help him' he thought, but knew the only reason he would was because of Xander's simple charm.

He glanced at the other, seeing him smile. Which, in turn, made his smile linger more. The Four found himself enchanted with the dancer's movements, finding them utterly beautiful.

Shiki slid his movements to a halt looking to the two in the audience and saw smiles on they're faces "Do you understand now?"he asked a smile still on his face but fear and sadness creeping into his eyes.

Chase realized slowly the emotion Shiki put into this place. Whether it was haunted or not, he didn't know, but Shiki surely could've been one of the Ghosts in the stories. He lived his life here, and it was something far more precious to him them anything else. Chase tried to think of what was important to him, and soon realized he didn't value material things... but to Shiki this place was more then material. It was a home.

"This place means a lot to you.. I'll try whatever I can, even though it's not really my place to decide." He said, standing up as he smiled sadly.

"thank you "shiki said with a nod his voice once again flat"please alert me if there is anything I can do or anyone I can talk to."he hopped off the stage and walked up to them.

"We'll talk to my brother. I'm sure he can make up some excuse to keep this old place." Chase made sure he sounded confident, but in all honesty he wasn't. He was desperate to save this place, both so Shiki could live here and Xander wouldn't be disappointed in him. He wanted to prove he was capable on something worth noticing, because while people respected him, he never thought he truly deserved it.

"We'll do what we can." Xander smiled at the stranger. The small boy shoved his hands in his pockets. "Thank you for dancing for us, it was beautiful." He complimented the dancer, looking up at him.

"Thank you."he stated with a stiff bow "I can escort you safely out if you wish?"Shiki gestured towards the exit.

Ooc: the only thing I can think of is for chase to maybe mention details about his brother to shiki so he knows who to look for?0_0 maybe?

Chase nodded "Um, thanks." he said, making sure Xander was close to him. He pitied Shiki, but at the same time didn't trust him.

Xander smiled at the dancer, but remained close to Chase. "Thank you for escorting us." The boy said in a cheerful voice as the two were at the entrance of the theater.
